What we’re looking for:

Venatus is looking for a Business Development Manager to take our publisher partnerships to the next level. You would be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with some of the largest publishers in the world, focusing on the highly competitive gaming sector. You will welcome new publishers into the Venatus team by understanding their unique business goals, identifying strategic growth opportunities for them and providing the best customer service levels in the game. Excellent communication skills are a must as well as a strong understanding of how to transform data and information into insights and revenue.

As a professional, you’ll be aware of the challenges and opportunities of the AdTech industry and you’ll be enthusiastic about empowering content publishers to grow their communities and platforms. You’ll relish the challenge of developing strong relationships and the chance to learn about each publisher and their platform(s) in depth. You’ll be the Yoshi to their Mario, supporting publishers (the main character in our business) to succeed while helping one of the fastest growing companies in the industry drive the industry forward.

As a team member, you will report to the Director of Business Development and the SVP of Strategy and Operations, Anthony Campanella and work alongside our in-house, global Direct ad sales, Programmatic ad sales, Publisher Operations, Marketing and Creative teams. You’ll be collaborative, a great time manager and cool under pressure with a flexible mindset that’s ready to adapt in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Build strategic relationships with key decision makers at publishers within the market sectors assigned to you
  • Build out a pipeline of prospective partners and actively pursue opportunities to promote and sell in the Venatus platform
  • Handle all renewal contracts for existing and new publishers within your designated sector
  • Converting leads into calls and direct face to face pitches with prospective publishers
  • Evangelize the Venatus offering and communicate the benefits of our direct, programmatic and header bidder sales solution
