Business Development Representative

 

Description:

As an outbound Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll make the first point of contact with target prospect accounts within your territory to acquire new customers.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Reach out to target prospect accounts and contacts within your territory daily through phone calls, email, and LinkedIn
  • Use prospecting strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects
  • Leverage content to drive engaging discussions that create opportunities to follow up with prospects through a consistent cadence of phone calls and emails
  • Identify the needs and challenges of prospective customers
  • Educate prospects about FOGO's portfolio of products and services
  • Schedule discovery calls or meetings for sales representatives
  • Research prospective companies to determine whether they fit our ideal customer profile
  • Update HubSpot with accurate account and contact details
  • Promoting the organization and products
  • Understand our ideal customers and how they relate to our products

ABOUT YOU:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Knowledge and experience in technology are a plus
  • Self-starter who has the desire to learn, grow, and excel in his/her role
  • Strong work ethic and self-drive
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized with good time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in the face of rejection or criticism
  • Experience collaborating with internal and cross-functional teams is a plus
  • Highly skilled in negotiation and persuasion
  • Patient and able to practice good phone etiquette
  • Experience using HubSpot is helpful but not required
  • Experience using ZoomInfo is a plus
