As a Business Development Salesperson, you will play a vital role in expanding our client base and strengthening relationships within government, emergency operations, and disaster relief organizations. Your boots-on-the-ground experience in Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs) and Basecamp Management will give you a unique edge in understanding our clients’ needs and delivering tailored solutions.
✅ Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting emergency management agencies, government entities, and disaster recovery contractors
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in disaster response and logistics
- Leverage your experience in emergency response, basecamp setup, and EOC coordination to consult and connect with stakeholders
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure seamless transition from sales to deployment
- Represent the company at industry conferences, expos, and field operations
- Maintain Business Development documentation, track leads, and provide regular sales reporting
🎯 Ideal Candidate:
- Proven track record in business development or sales, preferably in disaster recovery, emergency logistics, or related fields
- Direct experience with Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), FEMA, or military response units
- Strong understanding of basecamp operations, mobile logistics, and rapid deployment environments
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Willingness to travel, especially during emergency deployments
