Your Role:

The Business Development Specialist is responsible for managing leads and opportunities in the CRM, maintaining CRM functionality with incoming web forms, preparing quick campaigns, supporting digital marketing and sales efforts, and performing select administrative tasks related to event planning for the Presto Geosystems team. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Function as a front-line inside technical sales professional for phone and email contact in support of distributors, representatives, and customers.
  • Prioritize and manage the lead queue volume effectively to maximize new sales opportunities. Sort, qualify, and disseminate marketing and sales leads in a timely manner to Business Development Managers and distributors. Customer responsiveness is imperative.
  • Function as the business unit inside sales lead, managing leads and opportunities in the queue for a fast-paced, innovative company.
  • Drive prospecting initiatives and campaigns. Successfully pursue new customers through outbound prospecting strategies.
  • Write content to drive new business opportunities through CRM quick campaigns, email marketing, and other campaigns.
  • Monitor for CRM errors and work with IT to quickly resolve website form issues.
  • Provide support in planning for tradeshows and distributor meetings.
  • Support in growing ecommerce sales.

We need you to have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Communications, Marketing (or a related field), or related experience in a previous role.
  • 1-3 years' experience.
  • Experience with channel sales, distribution or manufacturer sales.
  • Experience with MS Office and a CRM system (preferably Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong prioritization, organization, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a distributed team and communicate effectively by IM (Microsoft Teams), phone, and video conference.
  • Occasional travel (15-20%).
