Business Operations Support

 

Description:

As a portfolio analyst, you will take the initiative to collaborate with various technical teams within our Customer and Retail Technology (CRT) teams and key business partners across our PMO, Finance and Sourcing/Procurement teams on business and finance focused technology, specifically around statement of work intake, portfolio management/performance and product implementations that will enable our technology teams to bring amazing customer experiences to Starbucks customers and partners.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Responsible for leading/supporting data mapping, metric formation, and implementation of user-friendly dashboards, enabling organizational leaders to make informed decisions.
  • Responsible for analyzing investment dollars, workload, and resource data while analyzing trends, evaluating historical performance, and preparing reports on these product portfolios, all while working in close collaboration with a variety of IT and business units.
  • Working with the stakeholders and cross-functional partners to define business objectives and target results, specifically as it relates to performance tracking and the digital operating model.
  • High competency in building and utilizing common business tools to enable communication, visibility(dashboards), performance reporting, and speed (e.g., Jira, Tableau, Power BI, MS suite, other financial/performance reporting tools).
  • High levels of communication across all various levels of stakeholders
  • Partners with other project/program managers to improve overall processes and strengthen partnerships in support achieving key objectives for CRT.

 

Summary of Specific Experience:
You will bring 5-7 years’ experience in systems thinking, performance management, shipping visible large cross functional initiatives, dashboards and process and will have the following knowledge, and skills:

  • Development, deploying and supporting large scale solutions that enable better business analysis and decision making, driven by facts and data
  • Working with process owners and identifying information technology solutions and data sources that enable business process improvements (min 5 years)
  • Working with and supporting technical teams in an Agile development model
  • Proficiency in business analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
