Business Sales Manager

 

Description:

The Business Sales Manager will be responsible for strategic accounts and account/business acquisition in a defined category across all channels. They create and execute short and mid-term business strategies and performance according to the account plan (delivering the month, quarter, and year per plan). Will work with all levels of the organization and will be responsible for relationships with global, key account leaders



The Business Sales Manager Will

  • Maintain consistent contact with customers and prospects to grow, maintain, and manage assigned sales categories.
  • Analyze and validate sales forecasts provided by customers.
  • Analyze existing accounts for margin improvement and increased volume opportunities.
  • Design strategies and proposals to accelerate inventory movement.
  • Identify projects to convert other packaging materials to glass
  • Receive and process customer purchase orders.
  • Quote and negotiate prices and contracts to include company and/or industry price increases.
  • Use pending orders, sales history, inventory levels, and customer input to develop sales forecasts.
  • Communicate significant customer information working effectively with Marketing, Supply Chain, Credit, and Sales Service.
