Description:

Celandyne Software Solutions LLC is seeking a highly skilled CAE Engineer with LS-DYNA expertise for a remote, full-time role in the United States. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in performing advanced simulations and analyses using LS-DYNA and other finite element analysis tools, supporting automotive, aerospace, or industrial design projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform nonlinear explicit and implicit finite element simulations using LS-DYNA.

  • Develop and execute crash, impact, and structural integrity simulations for high-performance systems.

  • Interpret and analyze simulation results to provide actionable design recommendations.

  • Work closely with design engineers and product development teams to validate models and ensure real-world correlation.

  • Create and refine detailed finite element models including meshing, material modeling, and contact definitions.

  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations summarizing engineering results.

  • Support model optimization, calibration, and benchmarking efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.

  • 3–7+ years of hands-on experience in CAE, particularly with LS-DYNA.

  • Solid understanding of materials, mechanics, and dynamic impact scenarios.

  • Proficiency with pre- and post-processing tools such as ANSA, HyperMesh, LS-PrePost, or similar.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
