Position Overview: We are currently hiring multiple Legal Assistants/Case Managers to support our busy practice. This role involves setting up new claims, ordering medical records, communicating with clients and adjusters, and assisting with legal drafting. Ideal candidates will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional time management abilities, and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- New Claims: Set up new claims accurately and efficiently.
- Medical Records: Order and track medical records, ensuring timely receipt and proper documentation.
- Client and Adjuster Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients and adjusters, addressing inquiries and providing updates on case progress.
- Legal Drafting: Assist with the preparation and drafting of legal documents, correspondence, and case materials.
- Case Management: Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and properly filed.
- Organizational Support: Maintain a high level of organization in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Previous experience in a personal injury law firm or similar legal environment is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
