Cataract Refractive Manager

Role Overview:
The Cataract Refractive Manager will support the Surgical Sales group by promoting, growing, and supporting Alcon’s cataract refractive products. These include advanced technology lens implants, patient-pay and non-covered services, diagnostic equipment, and surgical equipment used in both clinical and operating room (OR) settings within the Syracuse and Rochester, NY regions.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement focused marketing strategies to drive growth in patient-pay segments and practice development.

• Plan and conduct equipment demo presentations with targeted clinics, surgeons, and staff.

• Use business acumen and knowledge of Alcon discount programs to convert new customers and grow existing revenue.

• Deliver educational presentations to small and large clinics and organizations, focusing on improving patient outcomes with advanced technologies.

• Collaborate with other Alcon sales professionals to strengthen the overall Alcon portfolio.

• Employ an independent and consultative value-based sales approach to sell lens implants, clinical and OR-related equipment, and patient education programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of directly related experience (high school + 10 years; Associate’s + 6 years; Master’s degree also accepted).

• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, understanding, and communication).

• Minimum 2 years of validated relevant experience.
