Certified Special Education Teacher

Description:

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking Certified Special Education Teachers for the 2025-2026 school year in Columbia, SC. This role is a full-time, in-person position (M-F, 37.5 hours/week) offering competitive weekly pay, full benefits, and eligibility for 401(k) savings. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized education and support to students with special needs.

• Develop, implement, and assess individualized education plans (IEPs).

• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and administrators to ensure student success.

• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.

• Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet diverse learning needs.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid SPED/Teaching Certification.

• Ability to work full-time during the school year.
