Requirements

Requirements of the Certified Surgical Technician :
 

• Must be a High school graduate or equivalent (Required)
• Must have a Technical Diploma Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program.
• Must have Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
• Must have current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Must have 2-3 years in a Surgical Technologist role.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
