Change Management Lead

 

Description:

The Change Management Lead is responsible for developing and executing change strategies supporting multiple projects within banking programs. This role ensures alignment and delivery standards in accordance with Change Management methodologies, with a focus on U.S. banking strategic and regulatory initiatives across Consumer, Commercial Wealth, Shared Services, and regulatory business areas. The role involves managing change risks, stakeholder engagement, strategic communications, and supporting senior leaders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Change Management initiatives for strategic/regulatory banking programs

  • Apply change disciplines: strategy, sponsor development, communication, learning, resistance management, adoption metrics

  • Manage change/adoption risks including mitigation plans

  • Support senior leadership in driving change and stakeholder engagement

  • Develop strategic communication plans for diverse audiences including executives

  • Work remotely collaborating across locations

Qualifications:

Must-Have:

  • 5+ years leading Change Management initiatives in U.S. banking

  • Experience in Consumer, Commercial Wealth, Shared Services, and regulatory areas

  • 3+ years project management experience including planning and reporting

  • Strong verbal and written communication, executive presentation skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office

  • Self-starter, able to work independently and manage ambiguity

Nice-to-Have:

  • Recent financial services industry experience

  • Background in strategy and Change Management consulting

  • Experience integrating Change Management with Agile and customer journey initiatives

  • Change Management certifications (e.g., Prosci) or advanced OCM education
