Description:
The Change Specialist (12 Month Contract) will play a key role in supporting Holt Renfrew’s Purchase Experience Project, a transformational initiative focused on reshaping how our customers complete their purchases, both in-store and online. This includes enabling the rollout of new systems, tools, and processes that will modernize the purchase journey and deliver a seamless, unified experience across all channels.
Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Support the planning and execution of change management activities for the Purchase Experience Project and other key enterprise initiatives:
- Assist in developing and implementing change management strategies and plans to drive adoption and minimize resistance
- Support change impact and readiness assessments, to identify gaps and areas for targeted support
- Coordinate with the Learning and Development team on training curriculums, materials and logistics, prior to rollouts
- Support the delivery of in-person / virtual instructor-led training
- Develop and deliver communication materials, such as a ‘Case for Change’, key messaging, FAQs, etc., to support engagement
- Track and report on change management activities, adoption metrics, and feedback from business partners
- Provide coordination and logistical support for change-related activities and workshops
- Work under the direction of Manager, Futures, Change on ad-hoc requests
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store and corporate partners to ensure consistent understanding and adoption of new ways of working
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of change management tools, templates, and processes
The ideal candidate:
- Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience (e.g., Change Management, Communications, Business/Management, Project Management)
- 2–3 years of post-university work experience in change management, project coordination, or communications
- Familiarity with change management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively in a collaborative environment
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- French language proficiency is an asset, but not a requirement
- Experience in retail or service-oriented environments is an asset
