Role Description:

Lead a multidisciplinary team focused on designing, testing, and validating on-board electronic control systems for railway rolling stock. The role includes oversight of electronics hardware, firmware, packaging, and integration efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design and validation of electronic control systems hardware

• Manage multidisciplinary teams including firmware and packaging experts

• Oversee integration of mechanical and electronic hardware with software/firmware and FPGA logic

• Apply knowledge of analog and digital electronic designs

• Use electronic hardware design tools and manage product lifecycle

• Implement testing and validation methodologies for electronic systems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (BSEE, MSEE) or equivalent

• Experience with complex electromechanical assemblies, integrating mechanical and electronic hardware, software/firmware, FPGA, analog and digital designs

• Familiarity with electronic hardware design tools and lifecycle management

• Strong understanding of electronic system testing and validation
