YorCMO, through its franchise partner Person Consulting, is offering an exciting opportunity for senior marketing professionals to build and lead their own fractional CMO practice, focusing specifically on the professional services and accounting sectors. This remote, full-time role is ideal for seasoned marketing leaders seeking autonomy, flexibility, and a scalable business model within a well-supported national network.
This role is tailored for individuals with deep expertise in strategic marketing and experience leading high-level marketing initiatives for accounting firms, financial services providers, or similar professional service organizations. Unlike traditional marketing jobs, this opportunity allows the candidate to operate independently while leveraging yorCMO’s comprehensive infrastructure, proven delivery model, and peer support community.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the strategic marketing efforts of multiple professional services clients, primarily in accounting.
Operate as a fractional CMO, delivering high-level strategy without being embedded full-time within any single firm.
Work closely with firm partners to align marketing strategies with business development and relationship-based growth objectives.
Utilize yorCMO’s structured framework, tools, and support systems to deliver measurable results.
Guide and oversee execution with the assistance of dedicated marketing coordinators.
Participate actively in a national network of experienced marketing leaders to share knowledge and elevate client service.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Minimum 7 years of experience in senior-level marketing leadership (Director, VP, CMO).
Proven success in the professional services sector, especially in the accounting or financial services industries.
Strong background in developing strategic marketing plans and leading cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent client consulting skills and the ability to advise executives on business-aligned marketing decisions.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ambition to build a personal marketing consulting practice under the yorCMO brand.
Comfortable operating autonomously while leveraging a larger franchise framework and collaborative community.
