Civil Engineer

Stetson Engineers Inc. is recruiting for an entry-level Civil Engineer for full-time employment
in its northern California office located in San Rafael. Stetson Engineers is a water resources
engineering firm with approximately 40 professional engineers, hydrologists, and geologists in
offices located in northern and southern California. At a minimum, a B.S. Degree in Civil
Engineering is required, with preferred work or practical experience of one year or more in areas
related to design of civil engineering and water resources projects.

The successful candidate will utilize word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software
skills on a daily basis. Typical projects may include assistance with feasibility studies,
permitting, preparation of construction plans and specifications, and cost estimating associated
with the responsibilities listed above. Creative thinking, a positive approach to solving difficult
problems, and strong organization skills are critical requirements for all projects. The successful
candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
