Description:

Jamestown City School District is seeking Substitute-Clerk II candidates for clerical substitute positions across various locations within the district. This on-site, full-time role provides administrative support services and is an excellent opportunity for individuals with basic clerical experience who are looking to work in an educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical and administrative support across departments and school buildings as needed.

  • Perform routine data entry and document handling.

  • Assist staff with office procedures including typing, filing, scheduling, and general correspondence.

  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in record keeping and data processing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • At least six (6) months of clerical experience involving typing or computer data entry.

Additional Requirements:

  • Applicants must pass fingerprint clearance through New York State Department of Education Office of School Personnel Review and Accountability (OSPRA).

  • All employment offers are contingent upon approval by the Director of Human Resources and the Board of Education.

  • Do not proceed with fingerprinting without receiving an offer of employment from the HR Office.
