Tufts Medicine is seeking an experienced Client Applications Support Analyst IV – UKG Development to join their team. This role focuses on designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining the UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) application with emphasis on Timekeeping, Attendance, Accruals, Advanced Scheduling, and Boomi integration layer (CRT functional builds). The ideal candidate will serve as a technical developer and subject matter expert, optimizing system performance and aligning technology solutions with evolving business needs across a leading integrated health system in Massachusetts.
The position requires managing complex builds, overseeing issue resolution, ensuring robust system testing, and developing detailed technical and operational documentation. Responsibilities include engaging with operational teams, managing medium to large-sized projects, leading initiatives, mentoring junior staff, and contributing to continuous system improvements that support data-driven operations.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project management, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and possess the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical users effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools, and the ability to quickly learn new technical applications is essential.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Minimum of six (6) years of healthcare business analyst/IT experience.
Relevant certifications or willingness to obtain them within a reasonable timeframe.
Master’s degree in a related field.
Eight (8) years of healthcare business analyst/IT experience.
Experience in software development and testing/QA.
Expertise in UKG Pro WFM (Timekeeping, Attendance, Accruals, Advanced Scheduling).
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service orientation.
Ability to interpret data, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in fast-paced environments.
Intense mental focus for multi-faceted projects.
Manual dexterity for computer-based tasks.
Ability to view computer screens and monitoring equipment for extended periods.
