Clinical Training Manager

 

Description:

iRhythm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Training Manager to lead a global training team responsible for onboarding and continuous competency development of Qualified Cardiac Technicians (QCTs). This role ensures that training is a key lever for improving performance, compliance, and operational outcomes within a fast-paced and innovative healthcare environment.

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with experience in clinical training, healthcare operations, or a regulated medical environment. They must be capable of developing training strategies, managing onshore and offshore teams, and driving continuous improvement in learning and operational effectiveness.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the Global Clinical Operations training strategy in collaboration with leadership.

  • Identify training gaps and implement targeted solutions to improve quality and efficiency.

  • Serve as a change champion, refining training methods, curriculum, and instructional design for maximum engagement.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards, including FDA remediation efforts.

  • Monitor training effectiveness using data-driven approaches, adjusting methodologies to maximize learning impact.

  • Lead and develop a team of onshore and offshore trainers, aligning with business growth and quality objectives.

  • Oversee new hire training ensuring QCTs achieve competency milestones efficiently.

  • Drive ongoing competency progression with refresher training and skills enhancement programs.


Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in clinical training, healthcare operations, or regulated medical environments (cardiac, diagnostics, or medical devices preferred).

  • Prior leadership experience managing trainers, instructional designers, or competency programs.

  • Hands-on working leader; actively involved in training delivery, coaching, and problem-solving.

  • Change agent mindset; adaptable to implement new strategies and drive measurable improvement.

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with production leadership, compliance, and quality teams.

  • Familiarity with training metrics and assessment methodologies to evaluate effectiveness.

  • Ability to scale training programs in a high-growth, fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience in training, education, healthcare operations, or related field).

  • Clinical background preferred: RN, Paramedic, or CCT; Allied Health backgrounds acceptable.
