The selected Cloud Engineer will play a critical role in designing, automating, and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure solutions. This position emphasizes automation and cloud optimization, supporting application delivery teams in a growing and evolving organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure DevOps, with the ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.

This role involves collaborating with cross-functional IT Operations and Development teams to enhance the organization’s platform and support major cloud transitions, including Azure AI Search integration and on-prem to cloud migrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure solutions.

• Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform to build, automate, and manage Azure resources.

• Develop and deploy Azure cloud infrastructure modules aligned with business and technical requirements.

• Automate monitoring, scaling, and management of cloud resources to ensure platform efficiency and reliability.

• Enhance and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.

• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams to translate requirements into effective, automated cloud solutions.

• Provide expert guidance on Azure best practices, automation techniques, and security standards.

• Offer technical support and training to internal teams and stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with organizational and industry security standards while managing the Azure environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure.

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Terraform or other IaC tools.

• Strong proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.

• Experience with CI/CD and configuration management tools such as Azure Bicep and Ansible.

• Deep understanding of Azure architecture, services, and deployment strategies.

• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including monitoring and governance.

• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills, especially in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues.

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

• Familiarity with Microsoft DevOps, GitHub, or similar development platforms.

• Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.

• Knowledge of cloud deployment, monitoring, and compliance best practices.

• Exposure to AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: USD 75 – 90 (based on qualifications and client requirements).

• Contract Duration: Through the end of 2025.

• Employment Type: W-2 Contract (C2C candidates not considered).
