Commercial Graphic Artist

Description:

Responsible for design, layout, typesetting and impositioning of commercial printing and internal brand products.

Responsibilities:

• Design and typeset commercial print jobs per customer specifications.
• Design internal brand print jobs utilizing the established work-in-progress system.

• Prepare files for print, using established work flow and imposition software, to allow for the most efficient use of time and materials.

• Be able to successfully work with others in a positive, cooperative manner in a team-oriented environment to accomplish the company’s goals.

• Communicate with sales staff to meet customer requirements and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of graphic design experience
• Utilize both PC and MAC environment with Illustrator, and Photoshop primarily.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Publisher, InDesign and other graphic software.
• Good file management skills.
