BlackRock, one of the world’s leading asset management firms, is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Associate to join the Aladdin Sustainability Go-To-Market (GTM) & Commercial Strategy team in New York. This role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and sustainability, supporting the continued growth of Aladdin Sustainability—a solution that integrates sustainability analytics and data into investment decision-making.

As part of this dynamic team, the Associate will be responsible for developing and executing commercial strategies, sales acceleration initiatives, and GTM plans for Aladdin Sustainability. The role requires a combination of strategic thinking, project management, business development, and relationship management to drive growth across Aladdin’s sustainability offerings.

The successful candidate will partner closely with global cross-functional teams, including sales, COO, product, engineering, and legal, to drive Aladdin Sustainability’s market presence and ensure commercial success. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact in advancing sustainable investing through technology and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Aladdin Sustainability’s long-term commercial and GTM strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.

• Analyze the competitive landscape to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and areas for differentiation.

• Partner with sales teams across Aladdin and BlackRock to maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve growth targets.

• Lead early-stage client engagements, demos, and pre-sales discussions, coordinating subject matter experts where necessary.

• Support end-to-end sales cycles, from deal origination and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing.

• Collaborate with internal teams such as Business Development, Legal, COO, and Product Management to execute on strategic initiatives.

• Prepare and present executive-level content, including business updates, strategic decks, and sustainability briefings for clients and leadership.

• Act as an internal champion for Aladdin Sustainability, promoting collaboration and alignment across the Aladdin and BlackRock ecosystem.

• Support leadership with strategic projects, partnerships, and cross-product initiatives to enhance commercial growth and client engagement.

Skills and Qualifications:

Required:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in investment management, financial consulting, or FinTech.

• Proven experience in strategy consulting, commercial strategy, or GTM execution.

• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment vehicles, and sustainability trends.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.

• Demonstrated project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

• Highly analytical and commercially minded, with strong problem-solving abilities.

• Self-starter who takes initiative, drives results, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred:

• Experience with sustainability analytics, ESG integration, or climate-related financial data.

• Knowledge of Aladdin or similar investment platforms.

• Experience in cross-functional collaboration in a global or matrixed organization.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Annual Salary: USD 132,500 – 162,500 (approx. USD 11,042 – 13,542 per month).

• Annual Discretionary Bonus.

• Hybrid work model – minimum 4 days in-office per week.
