Communication Internship

BYU-Pathway Worldwide, one of the fastest-growing and most impactful organizations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is seeking a paid Communications Intern to join their dynamic team. This internship provides the opportunity to gain meaningful, real-world experience in communications while contributing to an organization that reaches over 80,000 students across 180 countries.

As part of the communications team, the intern will work under the direction of the Communications Manager, collaborating with professionals in writing, messaging, design, project management, and digital marketing. The intern will develop strong portfolio pieces showcasing writing and editing skills while learning how to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Writing and editing content for blogs, news articles, video scripts, websites, marketing emails, print materials, and help resources.

• Conducting interviews with students, employees, and stakeholders to produce impactful stories.

• Assisting with maintaining an editorial calendar.

• Participating in all steps of the writing and publishing process.

• Supporting administrative and organizational tasks as needed.

• Meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.

• Demonstrating effective planning, organization, and time management skills.

Qualifications:

• Currently earning or already earned a degree in Communications or English (preferred).

• Strong writing and editing skills across multiple mediums.

• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Drive) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with Brightspot or other web content management tools preferred.

• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) starting October 13, 2025.

• Must be based in Utah or Idaho.

• Applicants must be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and hold a current temple recommend.

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
