Job Summary:

As a Communication Regulation Partner, you will support nonspeaking or minimally speaking students to regulate their sensory and neuromotor systems to engage effectively in academic instruction and social activities. You’ll act as a trusted ally, offering co-regulation and communication assistance, helping students thrive academically and socially. Training and ongoing mentorship will be provided.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide co-regulation and communication support during academic sessions.

  • Help the student access and respond to virtual lessons.

  • Assist student participation in peer online clubs and social groups.

  • Foster student autonomy, connection, and confidence respectfully.

  • Communicate regularly with the student’s instructional and therapeutic teams.

  • Participate in ongoing mentorship and training.


Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum high school diploma (2 years of college preferred).

  • Compassion, curiosity, and a calm, regulated presence.

  • Dependability, professionalism, and kindness.

  • Ability to work in-person at the student’s home.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Clear background check.

  • Driver’s license and reliable transportation.

  • Commitment to respectful and empowering support.

  • No prior experience needed; full training and mentorship provided.


Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with RPM, S2C, Spellers Method, or similar communication methods.

  • Interest in education, psychology, occupational therapy, physical therapy, or speech/communication fields.

  • Experience with neurodivergent populations (professional or lived).
