AI-Powered Women, the world’s largest women’s AI conference anchored at MIT, is seeking a Community Engagement Lead (Trial-to-Paid Role) to support the rapid growth of its global network. This dynamic position is designed for individuals passionate about women’s empowerment, artificial intelligence, and global community building.

Initially starting as a volunteer or internship role (6–8 weeks), this position offers hands-on experience, mentorship from world-class leaders, and the opportunity to transition into a paid position as the organization continues to scale.

You will play a key role in nurturing engagement across AI-Powered Women’s online community, supporting live sessions, assisting with social media operations, and enhancing overall member experiences. This is a great opportunity for early-career professionals or experienced individuals looking to contribute to a high-impact, purpose-driven organization.


Key Responsibilities:

Community & Customer Success

  • Support live community engagement during Academy sessions (12pm EST daily).

  • Welcome and onboard new members to ensure smooth participation.

  • Foster discussions, answer questions, and encourage collaboration across Slack, Kajabi, and social platforms.

  • Assist in managing Q&A, post-event follow-ups, and tracking member activity.

Social Media & Communications

  • Manage and schedule social content highlighting Academy programs, speakers, and member spotlights.

  • Support campaigns for live events, certifications, and community milestones.

  • Create engaging written and visual content to drive visibility and connection.

Operational Support

  • Maintain event calendars and update resources within the member portal.

  • Track attendance and engagement metrics to measure community growth.

  • Brainstorm and implement creative strategies to increase engagement, retention, and brand visibility.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative in fast-paced environments.

  • Proficiency with tools like Slack, Kajabi, Google Workspace, and social media platforms.

  • Interest in AI, women’s leadership, community management, or digital marketing.

  • Bilingual communication skills are a plus.

For Students:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college or honors-level academic program.

  • Strong academic performance with demonstrable project or writing samples.

  • Prior experience in community management, event coordination, or content creation is advantageous.
