Downhole Chemical Solutions (DCS) is seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Completions Engineer to join their team in Midland, TX. This pivotal role acts as the primary liaison between operations, engineering, sales, and clients, overseeing the full lifecycle of client engagement—from initial project planning to flawless execution. The position requires close collaboration with the Sales Manager and District Operations teams to ensure timely, efficient, and technically sound project delivery that aligns with client objectives.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in fracture stimulation operations engineering, with a deep understanding of all aspects of fracture completion processes, including associated equipment and fluid systems. Preference will be given to candidates who combine technical mastery with sales experience, demonstrating excellent judgment, problem-solving skills, and strong client relationship management abilities.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Serving as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring smooth project execution and long-term satisfaction.

  • Partnering with the sales team to drive business growth through tailored technical solutions.

  • Advising clients on optimal fluid system configurations and operational strategies during planning and execution phases.

  • Applying expertise in fracture mechanics, friction reducers, and real-time data interpretation to maximize well performance.

  • Translating complex technical concepts into clear communication and diplomatically resolving any conflicts.

  • Conducting thorough post-job reviews, analyzing KPIs, and addressing operational concerns promptly.

  • Reporting directly to the Sales Manager.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in oil and gas, specifically in fracture stimulation operations.

  • At least 2 years’ experience in sales or technical sales engineering within the Permian Basin.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.

  • Advanced knowledge of fracture completion operations, fracture design, and pressure transient analysis software.

  • Proficiency with fracture stimulation chemicals, particularly friction reducers, and net pressure history matching techniques.

  • Strong communication, analytical, and conflict resolution skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Background:

  • Previous roles as a Completion Engineer or Frac Field Engineer with client-facing and sales exposure.
