Description:

TriNet, a leading provider of full-service HR solutions for small and midsize businesses, is seeking a Construction to drive new business growth within a designated territory. The Sales Consultant will build and manage a pipeline, conduct prospect meetings, present proposals to decision-makers, and sell TriNet’s comprehensive HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance solutions to companies with 5–99 employees. This role requires strong consultative selling skills and the ability to manage a multi-step sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an annual territory plan to meet sales targets

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through cold calling, networking, and referral partners

  • Qualify prospects efficiently based on needs and decision-making structures

  • Conduct consultative sales meetings and communicate TriNet’s value proposition

  • Manage a 3–6 month complex sales cycle with multiple decision-makers

  • Prepare proposals, obtain internal approvals, and present to C-level stakeholders

  • Use Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and quoting tools to manage activities

  • Meet quota and maintain required sales activity metrics

  • Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time

  • Demonstrate TriNet’s core values in all interactions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

  • 3+ years of experience in B2B complex sales

  • Proven experience in PEO sales preferred

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to build and maintain referral networks and ecosystem partnerships

  • Strong presentation skills and ability to influence senior decision-makers

  • Ability to multitask and manage opportunities at varying stages

  • Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce

  • Detail oriented and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
