Description:
TriNet, a leading provider of full-service HR solutions for small and midsize businesses, is seeking a Construction to drive new business growth within a designated territory. The Sales Consultant will build and manage a pipeline, conduct prospect meetings, present proposals to decision-makers, and sell TriNet’s comprehensive HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance solutions to companies with 5–99 employees. This role requires strong consultative selling skills and the ability to manage a multi-step sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop an annual territory plan to meet sales targets
Build and maintain a strong pipeline through cold calling, networking, and referral partners
Qualify prospects efficiently based on needs and decision-making structures
Conduct consultative sales meetings and communicate TriNet’s value proposition
Manage a 3–6 month complex sales cycle with multiple decision-makers
Prepare proposals, obtain internal approvals, and present to C-level stakeholders
Use Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and quoting tools to manage activities
Meet quota and maintain required sales activity metrics
Complete administrative tasks accurately and on time
Demonstrate TriNet’s core values in all interactions
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in B2B complex sales
Proven experience in PEO sales preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build and maintain referral networks and ecosystem partnerships
Strong presentation skills and ability to influence senior decision-makers
Ability to multitask and manage opportunities at varying stages
Proficiency with MS Office and Salesforce
Detail oriented and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
