Contract Duration: 12 Months +

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Manager to join one of the biggest market leaders in the transmission and distribution industry. This is a 12-month contract role based in Chicago, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the construction of a high-profile transmission and distribution project.

As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the project, managing on-site activities, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and schedule requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a renowned industry leader and contribute to a project that will shape the future of energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for the transmission and distribution project.
• Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and clients, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Provide regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts promptly to minimize project delays.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with design specifications and industry standards.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Construction Manager, preferably in transmission and distribution projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and project management principles.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with Chicago-area construction regulations and permitting processes is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training is highly desirable.
