Description:
ProcureAbility, a recognized leader in procurement services and consulting for over 25 years, is looking for a Procurement Consulting Manager to manage and lead project workstreams focused on procurement and supply chain transformation for top-tier clients, including many in the Fortune 1000.
This remote, full-time role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of procurement strategy, delivering innovative, data-driven solutions that drive tangible business results. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing both client-facing consulting engagements and internal initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness.
1. Client Project Delivery:
Lead and manage procurement-related consulting engagements such as:
Operational and opportunity assessments
Strategic sourcing and category management
Spend analysis and procurement transformation
Roadmap development and capability enhancement
Develop and deliver impactful recommendations and reports tailored to client needs
Perform supplier research, RFx management, supplier selection, and negotiation
Benchmarking and scenario modeling using advanced Excel techniques
2. Leadership and Team Management:
Lead teams of consultants and analysts across multiple projects
Direct client engagement and act as a senior point of contact
Manage deliverables, project timelines, budgets, and resources
3. Business Development and Internal Initiatives:
Contribute to proposal creation, RFP responses, and marketing materials
Support internal business-building initiatives and capability development
Participate in the development of internal knowledge capital and thought leadership
5+ years in a management consulting firm and 6+ years in procurement roles
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or Supply Chain from a reputed institution
Demonstrated ability to deliver end-to-end procurement strategies and assessments
Strong background in project management, stakeholder engagement, and vendor management
Expert-level proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, charts), and PowerPoint for client presentations
Willingness to travel up to 50% for client work
