We are currently seeking an Senior Consumer Insights Analyst for our client

Location: Walnut Creek , CA

 

The Senior Member Insights Analyst will be accountable for generating insights that lead to new product/service ideation, growing our market penetration through targeting, positioning, and creative campaign testing.

Essential Functions

• Has strong expertise in qualitative and quantitative techniques and the ability to apply tools appropriately based on business needs and resources.

• Lead vendor and agency partner research projects to select the best methodology and tools to maximize learning and gain value from projects.

• Manage brand equity tracking, positioning, communication and advertising testing, new product concept and product testing, and larger strategic projects.

• Incorporate macro trends into everyday activities and articulate how these trends influence our Members mindset and purchase behaviors.

• Have the ability to convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports.

• Be a strategic thought leader and collaborate with cross-functional partners such as product, digital, sales, analytics, etc.

• Have the ability to pull disparate pieces of data together, analyze data, uncover insights and then create concise and compelling stories to bring those insights to life.

 

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Evidence of strong analytical skills; ability to use research as a tool in decision making.

• Must have experience with Qualtrics.

• Ability to self-prioritize and deliver against competing concurrent projects. Ability to deliver on tight timelines and move quickly with cross-functional teams to execute on decisions while maintaining attention to detail.

• Excellent communication, presentation and organization skills.

Education & Experience/Licenses & Certification

• Bachelor's degree in related area (BA/BS degree in business, statistics, marketing, psychology, consumer behavior or related discipline) or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree preferred not required.

• At least 5 -7 years of experience in voice of customer, market research, marketing, quantitative analysis, and/or business analysis blending a mix of qualitative and quantitative research experience in a business to consumer environment

• Experience in consumer research including custom and syndicated.
