Description:
We are seeking a Control Engineer with expertise in PLC programming and SCADA systems to support critical infrastructure projects for our end customers, Azuria Water and Inframark Solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of industrial automation and control system projects, providing technical expertise throughout design, implementation, commissioning, and support activities.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with industrial control systems, PLC programming, and SCADA platforms, along with the flexibility to travel to customer sites as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems.
- Develop, configure, and maintain SCADA applications and HMI interfaces.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and project teams to implement automation solutions.
- Perform on-site commissioning, testing, validation, and system startup activities.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for deployed systems.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and project deliverables.
- Support system integration efforts and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
- Travel to customer locations as needed to support project execution and deployment activities.
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming and industrial automation.
- Strong experience with Allen-Bradley, Rockwell Automation, and/or Siemens PLC platforms.
- Proven experience with SCADA systems such as Ignition, Wonderware, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of industrial control system architecture and automation best practices.
- Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Willingness and ability to travel for extended project assignments within the designated states.
