Our client is a specialty healthcare company that has been a staple in the community for 20+ years!!! As they expand, they're looking to bring on a Controller that manage all day to day finance functions, implement processes, and work hand-in-hand with the CEO!
Responsibilities:
- Implement strategic expense management initiatives such as bill.com and credit card expense management tools to optimize our financial resources effectively.
- Leverage all available discounts, meticulously compare prices, and maintain advantageous contracts to maximize value.
- Design and facilitate compensation discussions with doctors, ensuring a fair and motivating compensation structure that aligns with organizational goals.
- Oversee payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payments for all employees.
- Provide detailed and accurate financial reports to doctors, banks, board members, and other stakeholders, offering transparency and fostering trust.
- Collaborate closely with accountants on all compliance-related matters, including sales tax, use tax, and end-of-year reporting, ensuring the organization adheres to all financial regulations and requirements.
- Efficiently manage the bookkeeper and collections teams, ensuring seamless financial operations and robust receivables management.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience of finance experience
- Preferred: Microsoft Office suite, particularly advanced PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent time management and organization skills
- Great verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
