As a Controller, you will play a vital role in overseeing core accounting operations, supporting strategic planning, and driving continuous improvement in our finance function. This fully remote role requires a candidate based in the EST or CST time zones, offering an opportunity to contribute to a meaningful, fast-growing healthcare company.


Key Responsibilities:

General Ledger Accounting:

  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial reports while managing the month-end close process.

  • Identify and implement process improvements for closing procedures.

  • Oversee routine accounting activities ensuring accurate and compliant reporting.

  • Review and approve account reconciliations, investigating and resolving discrepancies efficiently.

  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and key changes.

  • Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliation.

Corporate Finance:

  • Respond to audit requests and prepare necessary documentation for internal and external audits.

  • Coordinate with external tax partners for timely and accurate federal and state filings.

  • Support commission and bonus calculations and distributions.

  • Ensure compliance with all tax-related requirements and corporate registrations.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports for senior leadership.

  • Lead budget management and forecasting for select departments.

  • Provide company-wide forecast summaries and data-driven recommendations.

Strategic & Operational Leadership:

  • Contribute to refining financial systems and improving workflow efficiencies.

  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of financial processes and internal controls.

  • Manage company insurance programs and lead financial due diligence for M&A activities.

  • Oversee expense reporting platforms and associated systems.

  • Collaborate with senior finance leadership to build, optimize, and monitor internal processes.

  • Evaluate KPIs and operational metrics to align with organizational goals.


What We're Looking For:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred.

  • Experience: 7–10 years in accounting/finance with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.

  • Skills:

    • Strong understanding of IFRS 15 & IFRS 16.

    • Revenue recognition experience.

    • Experience managing multiple P&Ls.

    • M&A exposure preferred.
