Corporate Process Engineer

 

Description:

The Corporate Process Engineer will report directly to the VP of Manufacturing and play a critical role in driving process and production efficiency improvements at RealREPP’s three lime plants located in Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas. This position demands extensive experience in cement or lime processing and involves frequent travel (approximately 50%) to oversee and support ongoing improvement projects at the plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate with company and plant leadership via project presentations, daily updates, scheduling meetings, project planning sessions, and capital project budgeting and review meetings.

  • Plan, organize, and execute process improvement projects, including building ROI business cases as part of capital project approval processes.

  • Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and plant maintenance teams to procure necessary parts, services, and equipment for projects.

  • Lead and participate in root-cause failure analysis activities to assist plant leadership with decision-making and next steps when equipment failures occur.

Safety Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

  • Observe and enforce all Federal Mine Safety and Health regulations and company safety rules.

  • Address and resolve safety issues promptly, communicating any safety or health concerns with upper management.


Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering (preferably Process Engineering, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering).

  • 10-15 years of experience in cement or lime process engineering.

  • Previous experience with capital projects and engineering process improvements in lime or cement plants.

  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50% of the time to plant locations.
