Belk is seeking a Cosmetic Beauty Advisor to join its team, ensuring exceptional customer service and meeting sales targets within the beauty department. This role requires a strong passion for cosmetics and skincare, along with the ability to assist customers in finding beauty solutions while maintaining high standards of presentation and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Service:

✔️ Achieve or exceed personal sales per hour (SPH) goals
✔️ Deliver outstanding customer service and foster repeat business
✔️ Execute promotions, special events, and pre-sells effectively
✔️ Build and maintain customer clientele through personalized service
✔️ Meet or exceed credit application goals
✔️ Ensure efficient and accurate transactions

Store Operations & Compliance:

✔️ Maintain floor and stock areas to meet store standards
✔️ Unpack and organize new merchandise without obstructing customers
✔️ Set up signage and displays for promotions
✔️ Follow inventory and markdown procedures
✔️ Adhere to dress code and professional appearance standards
✔️ Comply with store policies regarding attendance and behavior

Qualifications & Requirements:

📌 No formal education required
📌 Retail experience preferred
📌 Excellent communication skills
📌 Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends

Physical Requirements:

✅ Ability to stand for long hours and lift 25-50 lbs when stocking
✅ Hand manipulation for removing sensor tags
✅ Ability to apply makeup/treatments to customers
✅ Capability to push/pull 100-500 lbs when moving stock carts
