What You'll Do as Cost Accounting Manager
- Lead strategic cost management initiatives to drive manufacturing efficiency and profitability
- Analyze and optimize plant KPIs (key performance indicators) and production costs
- Manage month-end close processes in SAP ERP system for USA business unit
- Oversee annual physical inventory counts and cycle counting programs
- Calculate manufacturing variances, scrap analysis, and waste reduction metrics
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Evaluate financial impact of production issues and process improvements
- Provide cost accounting guidance to plant managers and operations teams
- Coordinate audit preparation and regulatory compliance activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing environment
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
- Must live in Phoenix, AZ metro area or willing to relocate
- Advanced proficiency in SAP ERP, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI
- Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation
- Manufacturing cost accounting expertise (GAAP, inventory controls, product costing)
