MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency with a long-standing reputation since 1983, is currently seeking an experienced and skilled CT Technologist for a contract position with one of its top healthcare clients. This role is designed for professionals passionate about patient care and diagnostic imaging, offering the opportunity to work in a highly dynamic and patient-focused environment.

As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating advanced CT equipment to generate cross-sectional images of bones, tissues, and organs, which assist in accurate medical diagnoses. You will play a key role in ensuring that patients are safely positioned, that scans are performed with the highest quality standards, and that results are collated and processed appropriately for radiologists and physicians. Your role will involve supporting interventional CT procedures, starting IVs, injecting and dispensing contrast, scheduling patients, assisting with clerical functions, and maintaining patient records by charging procedures and supplies used.

The position demands both technical expertise and compassionate care, with the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals. By promoting a safe, efficient, and patient-centered work environment, you will contribute directly to improving health outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CT equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images.

• Position patients safely and comfortably, utilizing immobilization or protective devices when necessary.

• Set and monitor imaging equipment controls, adjusting as required.

• Assist radiologists during procedures and administer oral or IV contrast as applicable.

• Evaluate scan quality, collate and label images correctly, and prepare reports.

• Maintain accurate records by documenting charges for procedures and supplies.

• Participate in scheduling, clerical duties, and power injection operation for contrast media.

• Deliver patient care with compassion, professionalism, and adherence to safety standards.

• Support national patient safety initiatives and foster a culture of clinical excellence.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 months of CT Tech experience in a healthcare setting.

• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification required.

• State licensure as applicable.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
