  • This position will be servicing the Diabetes team. The Diabetes team serves a variety of roles, including customer support, sales, billing and marketing..
  • We focus on providing patients with Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) supplies
  • We support a wide variety of patients with Diabetes across the country.
  • We have a tight-knit team that rallies together to support one another, grow and learn together, and have fun! We are currently seeking a Customer Account Representative. A CAR is typically responsible for supporting existing Diabetes patients who receive Continuous Glucose Monitoring, as well as onboarding new patients based on direct leads.
  • This position involves spending a large percentage of your day making and answering and returning phone calls to confirm customer information, product needs, and verifying insurance documentation. Other tasks include researching insurance payer requirements, learning and understanding reimbursement procedures, account maintenance, answering billing questions, and helping patients troubleshoot any problems with their supplies.
  • You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, work efficiently with high attention to detail, remain organized, and participate as an engaged member of the team.

  • Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality.
  • Skills:* google suite, excel data entry, Customer service
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications:*
  • High School Diploma, preference given for college experience
  • 3+ years experience in Customer Service or Healthcare
  • General Computer and Email Proficiency
  • Ability to Provide Excellent Customer Service
  • High level of Compassion
  • Proven Ability to Prioritize and Manage a Full Workload/ Multitask
  • Outstanding Written and Verbal Communication
  • Willingness to Make Decisions Independently

  • Adaptability and Willingness to Learn Best vs Average:
  • Experience with insurance, particularly Medicare
  • Experience in the healthcare sector
