Mastercard, a global leader in digital payments and financial technology, is seeking a Director of Cybersecurity Business Development for the East North America (NAM) region. This strategic leadership position is ideal for a highly driven and experienced team leader who can lead a high-performing sales team focused on cybersecurity solutions. The role is fully remote and based in New York, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work within a globally recognized organization.

As a People Manager, you will be responsible for developing, mentoring, and directing a team of cybersecurity field sales professionals to drive revenue growth and market penetration across the U.S. and Canada. You will play a critical role in aligning team efforts with Mastercard’s goals while maintaining a culture of excellence, accountability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the cybersecurity sales team

  • Motivate and guide the team to exceed sales targets and KPIs

  • Develop and implement strategic plans and sales timelines

  • Delegate responsibilities effectively and monitor progress

  • Provide ongoing training to enhance skills in product knowledge and communication

  • Conduct regular performance reviews (quarterly, mid-year, annual)

  • Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented team environment

  • Create and maintain a healthy work culture that inspires productivity

  • Handle conflict resolution and listen to team feedback to improve outcomes

  • Lead team-building initiatives and organize collaborative activities

  • Coordinate cross-departmentally and communicate with senior leadership

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading cybersecurity sales teams in a leadership capacity

  • Demonstrated success in delivering consistent sales growth

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to improve operational performance

  • Bachelor’s degree in management, cybersecurity, or a related field preferred

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

  • High proficiency in digital tools and computer systems

  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities

  • Ability to work under pressure and juggle multiple priorities

  • Willingness and availability for extensive travel across North America

  • Must demonstrate a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and team-oriented leadership
