Description:
Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Cyberspace Analyst to support cyber and electronic warfare operations at Fort Meade, MD. This role is part of the Cyber Electronic Warfare and Space (CEWS) team, which plays a vital role in defending U.S. national security interests by providing advanced cyber capabilities, electronic warfare expertise, and space solutions to counter today’s rapidly evolving global threats.
As a Cyberspace Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, planning, and coordinating cyberspace operations while providing actionable recommendations to solve complex cybersecurity challenges. You will work closely with DoD component commands, federal agencies, and intelligence communities to strengthen cyberspace defenses, mitigate risks, and enhance mission readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop recommendations and courses of action to address complex cybersecurity problems.
Coordinate cyberspace operations across DoD Commands, Services, Agencies, and partner organizations including intelligence and law enforcement bodies.
Conduct research and analysis to assess cybersecurity capabilities and data protection requirements.
Report and present intelligence findings, providing clear and concise insights to stakeholders.
Demonstrate expertise in network threats, attack vectors, exploitation methods, and the lifecycle of cyber threats.
Utilize and configure industry-standard cybersecurity tools such as web content filters and email security systems.
Support cyber-related incident response including malware analysis, malicious activity alerts, and suspicious contact reporting.
Engage with Federal Cyber Command (FCC) and Defense Industrial Base (DIB) for network protection strategies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline and at least 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Must possess active TS/SCI security clearance with Polygraph.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with diverse government, defense, and intelligence stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in cyber operations and intelligence reporting.
Hands-on expertise in cybersecurity tools, malware analysis, and network protection.
Familiarity with incident coordination and national defense cyber missions.
