We are looking for an experienced Database Performance Engineer with deep DB2 development and SQL performance tuning expertise, along with hands-on Snowflake and Scala experience.

This is NOT a database maintenance role. We need a hands-on data engineer who can analyze complex database issues, optimize SQL, refactor stored procedures, and modernize database logic using Scala.

🔑 Required Skills & Experience
✅ DB2 Development: 8+ years of DB2 database expertise and hands-on development experience.
✅ SQL Performance Tuning: 6+ years optimizing SQL queries and improving DB2 performance.
✅ Stored Procedures: 6+ years understanding, developing, and refactoring DB2 stored procedures into DB2 SQL.
✅ Scala Development: 4+ years identifying stored procedures suitable for extraction and rewriting them in Scala or a similar programming language.
✅ Snowflake: 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake warehouses and Snowflake SQL performance tuning.
