Description:

EY is seeking a highly skilled Databricks Data Engineer Manager to join its consulting practice, focusing on designing and implementing advanced cloud analytics solutions. This role requires strong expertise in Databricks, Spark, data architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), combined with leadership abilities to manage teams and client relationships.

The manager will be responsible for leading end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable data engineering solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical best practices. This includes building data pipelines, managing cloud analytics architectures, overseeing data governance and security, and mentoring engineers. The role also involves direct client engagement, identifying opportunities for new services, managing budgets and resources, and ensuring successful project delivery.

Candidates should bring strong strategic leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a proven track record in managing enterprise-level cloud data solutions. Previous experience in building real-time analytics platforms, modernizing data warehouses, or implementing enterprise-scale data lakes is highly valued.

Ideal candidates will also have knowledge of machine learning, advanced analytics tools, and industry best practices. Strong problem-solving skills, programming proficiency in Python/Scala/SQL, and experience with ETL processes are essential.
