Delivery Driver

Description:

The Aaron’s Company, Inc., a leader in the sales and lease-to-own retail industry, is seeking Delivery Drivers for their Waterbury, CT location. This role goes beyond typical delivery duties, offering hands-on experience with loading, transporting, installing, and demonstrating merchandise. Delivery Drivers play a crucial role in customer satisfaction while supporting store operations. This position offers opportunities for career growth within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load, secure, and protect merchandise for delivery.

• Offload, install, and demonstrate merchandise to customers.

• Safely operate delivery vehicle.

• Assist in-store operations when needed.

• Provide excellent customer service and support store activities.

Qualifications:

• Solid communication skills.

• Working knowledge of electronics.

• Desire to help customers.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Must meet DOT requirements for certification (U.S.).

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unaided and 300 lbs. with a dolly.

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Valid driver’s license (non-CDL).

• Minimum age: 21 (18 in Canada).
