Delivery Lead

Description:

Acend is seeking an experienced Agile Coach / Delivery Lead to join their team and support a long-term client in Continental Europe. This is a remote-first role with regular collaboration across time zones and cultures, requiring quarterly travel. The role involves coaching cross-functional product teams, guiding agile ceremonies, and fostering a culture of innovation, speed, and quality. The Agile Coach will also provide strategic guidance to client leadership and ensure the team stays aligned to business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Act as Agile Coach and Delivery Lead for a distributed product team based in Europe.

• Support and guide agile ceremonies, Product Owners, and team members to improve agile maturity.

• Lead planning, review, and retrospectives, championing continuous improvement.

• Remove blockers and ensure alignment with business outcomes and customer needs.

• Coach client leadership on agile principles, mindset, and ways of working.

• Track delivery health, report on team progress, and highlight risks.

• Collaborate with Acend colleagues to share insights, tools, and practices across clients.

• Contribute to internal IP development and help shape Acend’s consulting playbook.

About You:

• 5+ years of experience in Agile Coaching or Delivery Leadership in complex environments.

• Comfortable working with both team-level agile practices and senior stakeholders.

• Strong facilitation, coaching, and influencing skills.

• Hands-on experience with delivery frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, etc.

• Empathetic, adaptable, and curious — a continuous learner.

• Proven ability to build psychological safety and foster healthy team dynamics.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cultures and disciplines.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in regulated industries (e.g., pharma, finance).

• Background in product management or UX.

• Multilingual (especially French, German, or Spanish).

• Agile certifications (e.g., ICP-ACC, SAFe, CTC).

Working at Acend:
