Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
• Take digital dental radiographs and intraoral photos
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and home care
• Provide personalized recommendations based on patient needs
• Accurately document patient information, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Work closely with Dr. Maffett and our team to provide comprehensive patient care

Qualifications

• Current South Carolina Dental Hygienist license
• Current South Carolina Dental Radiograph Certification
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to perform digital dental charting
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft helpful, but not required
• Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Caring, dependable, and patient-focused
