The Department of Art & Design at Hanover College seeks a creative, student-focused leader to serve as Chair of our vibrant and growing department beginning August 2024 (tenure-track, rank open based on qualifications). Ability to teach graphic design strongly preferred. Set in a small college, liberal arts environment, the department's broad curriculum and unique student opportunities set it apart. Minimum Qualifications

• MFA or other relevant terminal degree
• Commitment to employing inclusive pedagogy and valuing diversity of student identities, scholarship, learning and creative performance
• Evidence of creative accomplishments
• College level teaching experience
• Excellence in written and interpersonal communication skills
