Deputy Operations Head

Description:

Zensar Technologies is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Deputy Operations Head to lead the delivery of end-to-end IT infrastructure services at their Dallas, TX office. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing data center operations, network infrastructure, cloud computing services, and end-user computing environments.

The role includes managing a diverse team of IT professionals—such as system administrators, network engineers, security analysts, and support staff—to ensure exceptional performance and continuous service improvements. This senior leadership position also serves as the primary contact for stakeholders and internal teams regarding service delivery, performance, compliance, and strategic alignment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing cross-functional IT services and operations with adherence to SLAs and budgets.

• Leading digital transformation and ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-effective infrastructure.

• Driving collaboration and accountability across technical teams.

• Monitoring escalated incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions.

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards, including ISO 27001.

• Collaborating with InfoSec and audit teams on security and risk mitigation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• At least 18 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in service delivery leadership.

• Proven background in managing complex IT infrastructure operations.

• Familiarity with managed service contracts and third-party data center setups.

• Solid understanding of networking, virtualization, storage systems, and service desk operations.

• ITIL certification preferred; certifications like CCNA, MCSA, or VMWare are considered a plus.

• Prior experience with ISO 27001 environments is desirable.
