Designer

Description:

Our client, a design agency, is seeking a Sr. Designer to join their team full time. This role does require 1-2 days/week onsite in New York.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in packaging in the agency space. You have a keen eye for detail, typography and illustration skills. You are a creative thinker with the ability to think outside the box and provide new, fresh ideas.

SR. DESIGNER DUTIES:

• Deliver high-quality design solutions from beginning to end including research, ideation, concept exploration, hands-on design development and finalization
• QA all design work including coloring, type and visual standards are on brand and within guidelines
• Organize and maintain design files
• Ability to manage external specialists including illustrators and visualizers
• Additional duties as assigned

SR. DESIGNER REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts or Graphic Design
• 4+ years of relevant experience in packaging
• Excellent typography and illustration skills
• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
• Good understanding of the print process
