Description:
We are looking for an enthusiastic AWS Support Technician to provide onsite support to users in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be an individual who is technically savvy and has outstanding face-to-face customer service and interaction skills.
The AWS Desktop Support role blends traditional desktop support with AWS support and knowledge. The job involves providing technical assistance to end-users for hardware and software issues, and virtual machine issues.
Desired Skills, Responsibilities, Experience Needed Job Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and the AWS platform.
- Experience in desktop support and technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, Active Directory, and server-client architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience with cloud support tools and scripting is often beneficial.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and professional skills working directly with end users

- End-user support: Provide timely and effective technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via phone, email, and remote assistance.
- System maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux).
- Cloud support: Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud-based services on AWS
- Troubleshooting: Resolve complex issues in both the local desktop environment and the AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Documentation: Document support requests, resolutions, and procedures in a ticketing system.
- Collaboration: Work with other IT team members to implement new technologies, improve processes, and ensure efficient cloud operations.
- User training: Conduct user training and create documentation to improve user understanding of systems and tools.
- Proficient with Office 365 Suite and/or Google Suite
- Experience using incident management (Service Now) and knowledge base system
