Description:
Envision is actively seeking a Desktop Support Specialist to join its team in Dover, Delaware, for an on-site, full-time role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering hands-on technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, configuring devices, and maintaining workstations and peripherals in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide front-line support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware.
Troubleshoot and resolve operating system, software, and network issues.
Install, configure, and maintain Windows-based systems and enterprise applications.
Set up new user accounts, perform password resets, and ensure access to network resources.
Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure the smooth functioning of all office systems.
Maintain asset inventory and manage hardware replacement cycles.
Respond to support tickets and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Assist with system imaging, software deployment, and patch management.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and remote support tools.
Experience with Active Directory, Exchange, and basic network troubleshooting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with both technical and non-technical staff.
Certification such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCP or similar is a plus.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-first mindset.
